Heather Freeman
Author
Children’s Book Author and creator of Little Australian Stories, Heather Freeman loves to write about the Australian bush and wildlife.
Heather lives in Adelaide with her husband and three children. Heather dreams her stories will engage and entertain children all over the world.
Peter Townsend
Illustrator
Peter Townsend has been professionally illustrating children’s books for 35 years. He has over 160 titles to his credit. Most of his professional life has been spent in Sydney. He moved to Adelaide for sometime but now resides in Northern New South Wales with his wife Danashiri.

Heather Frahn
Sound Designer
Heather Frahn is a sound designer, composer, performer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and sound therapist. She has been professionally performing since the mid 1990’s, and is treasured as one of South Australia’s most outstanding music artists, having won a swag of awards for excellence in voice, music and performance. Heather’s work has spanned across diverse applications from childcare centres to hospital wards, to remote communities, public parades, and national radio to some of the finest festival and theatre stages. Heather has performed nationally and internationally with various projects and children’s theatre productions, and presented her works at many music festivals, including the prestigious WOMADelaide World Music Festival.

Bronwen James
Narrator
Bronwen James has been a professional actor and voice-over artist for more than 30 years. She has three children and lives in the Adelaide Hills. During her career she has portrayed everything from a singing spider, a maggot, a singing tree, various witches and hags, a tortoise, goat, fox, lion and has flown on the back of a unicorn. This is however the first time she has played a Koala.
Alison Mitchell
Visual Artist
Alison Mitchell is a visual artist based in regional South Australia. She works from life in oils and water colour. Her work is in response to the environment she lives in and is informed by her studies in Anthropology and Asian Art History.
